Ford Gas Vehicle Packages
Naturally Aspirated – Stock / Light Bolt-Ons
For non-turbo, non-supercharged Ford gas vehicles with stock engines and basic bolt-ons. Best for intake, cat-back exhaust, and other minor upgrades. Includes 91/93 and E85 tuning where supported by the vehicle and fuel system.
Naturally Aspirated – Full Bolt-On
For non-factory-boosted vehicles with more extensive bolt-ons. Best for aftermarket intake manifolds, IMRC lockouts, throttle bodies, injectors, cold air intakes, and exhaust upgrades. Includes 91/93 and E85 tuning where supported by the vehicle and fuel system.
Naturally Aspirated – Aftermarket Internals
For non-factory-boosted vehicles with heavy engine modifications. Best for cams, pistons, rods, compression changes, and other internal engine work. Includes 91/93 and E85 tuning where supported by the vehicle and fuel system.
Factory Turbo – Stock / Light Bolt-Ons
For Ford EcoBoost vehicles that came turbocharged from the factory and still use the stock turbo and stock fuel system. Best for intake, intercooler, charge pipes, exhaust, and similar light-to-moderate upgrades. Includes a 91/93 tune, with ethanol tuning only where the platform, fuel system, and injector setup support it.
Factory Turbo – Upgraded Turbo / Fuel System
For factory turbo Ford applications with upgraded turbochargers and/or upgraded fueling. Best for vehicles with larger turbo setups, upgraded injectors, high-pressure fuel upgrades, or return-style fuel systems. Includes 91/93 and E85 tuning where supported by the combination.
Factory Turbo – Aftermarket Internals
For EcoBoost vehicles with built engines and heavy supporting mods. Best for combinations with aftermarket internals, upgraded turbo systems, and full fuel system upgrades. Includes 91/93 and E85 tuning where supported by the combination.
Non-Factory Turbo / Supercharged
For vehicles that were naturally aspirated from the factory but now have an aftermarket turbo or supercharger setup. Best for Coyote, Cyclone, and other Ford gas platforms converted to boost. Includes 91/93 tuning, with E85 available when the fuel system and injector setup support it.
Boosted – Aftermarket Internals
For any aftermarket-boosted Ford gas vehicle with internal engine modifications. Best for forged or built-engine turbo and supercharger combinations that go beyond standard bolt-on or entry-level boosted setups. Includes 91/93 and E85 tuning where supported by the setup.

HP Tuners’ vehicle list shows support by year, model, and controller, and states that listed credit cost is for ECM licensing only; vehicles with additional supported controllers such as a TCM may require extra credits.
Credit requirements vary by platform, but HP Tuners says most vehicles require between 2 and 6 credits, while some newer Ford applications shown in HP Tuners announcements require 4 credits for supported OBDII tuning. Exact support and credit count should be confirmed by year, model, engine, and transmission before purchase.
